'Oily crap!!

What a cool series! I can't believe it hasn't garnered any responses yet..

I love period pieces, and Australia does them with a flair. I loved 'Walkabout', 'Playing Beatie Bow', 'Fatty Finn', 'Manganinnie', 'Rabbit-Proof Fence' [all here], ect.., and though I've only viewed the first and part of the second episode I'm really enjoying THIS series.

I have now downloaded over half of the series. Unfortunately, I tried to watch an episode last night and it shut off about 10 minutes into the movie. My computer has a problem playing about 1 out of every 30 or so downloads and the computer will shut off a little bit into the movie and it will not reboot for about a half hour. (It always does it with the same movies, some shut off only after about 2 or 3 minutes, some will play about a half hour before shutting off, so my guess is every episode will do the same). I imagine it has something to do with the file codec or size, but I haven't been able to figure out ahead of time which files will do it.

I still appreciate the downloads and will finish out the series. I am hopefully getting a different computer in the near future which will not give me this problem and then I will be able to watch the movies that do this.

I enjoy Australian television programs so I am sure I will like this series once I am able to watch it. Thanks for the series.

i reckon you definitely have a codec issue,take them all out and install the latest 'K-lite pack' i've had many problems and k-lite usually helps.

I've got full copies of episodes 1 - 4 and episode 6 all sharing out with 'Power Release' hope it helps.
