IMDb wrote:Bachir Lazhar, an Algerian immigrant, is hired to replace an elementary school teacher who died tragically. While the class goes through a long healing process, nobody in the school is aware of Bachir's painful former life; nor that he is at risk of being deported at any moment. Adapted from Evelyne de la Cheneliere's play, Bachir Lazhar depicts the encounter between two distant worlds and the power of self-expression. Using great sensitivity and humor, Philippe Falardeau follows a humble man who is ready to transcend his own loss in order to accompany children beyond the silence and taboo of death.
Thanks ptg. The timings are way off on your srt but I'll see what I can do to fix it up.

Okay, I basically made a Google trans of the subs from the .rar file, then edited it while comparing the wording to ptg's BRrip so I didn't have to redo all the timings. This isn't a one-for-one copy - there are some phrasing changes and extra lines I think make this a little more coherent. Translating from one language to another can be very difficult because the idioms, and sometimes even the concepts, aren't always shared. My hat is off to anyone who makes .srt files - it's a real pain in the patootey. I'm pretty happy with these results, and the timings match the release perfectly.
I recommend this film. Once I had decent subs it was very much more "enjoyable". The topic is difficult but worth it.
Looking forward to this one, Phuzzy!!! Many thanks!

I got 1080p BluRay
Audio: FR + GER
Subs: FR/ger
Why don't you ever post the actual files instead of just saying that you have them? If there is a thread it's of interest probably so just post it then.

Yes, goku. No harm, but I think people are not interested in what you have, unsless you give us a dl-link.
Most of these should work, though I haven't downloaded any of them. For those that have seen this already, would you mind telling me if this was an enjoyable movie?
Sometimes, I see the massive BDrip files titled with "remux". I thought remux simply meant the file has addition audio or subs "muxed" in, and thus was remuxed. What does this word mean in this other case, with these larger BDrips?
