Specifically the DVD version which I believe is not edited for TV.

Looks pretty heartbreaking and I am pretty sure it is now shut down. Who knows who takes care of em now :(

yikes...this is on youtube. THX JD for the heads up, but this is a definite skip for me. There is also a sequel.

But a couple of the others looked good on the dvd site. THX Kev.

If you go to Kevs site and go to Slumdog Children of Mumbai. The trailer is the whole movie. Maybe someone more tech savvy can get it?

Just curious as to why... :think

Is it mostly about the adults who are trying to help the kids or is it just too intense? Is it just boring information with virtually no visual focus on the children?

I obviously could go to youtube and check but just curious about your reaction... ;)

I think this is about children whose parents abandon them when they're born with birth defects (I'm not sure if this is the same one I watched).

Not really similar. These children are mentally handicapped and their parents totally abandon them to heartless government 'care' in an institution. They're not exercised, interacted with, or even taught to speak, and most end up sitting in a chair rocking back and forth all day. They caretakers have no empathy for them, and some even abuse them. Not an easy film to watch.
