AFAIK both "A-Team" and "Texas Ranger" were shown on TV here. I don't know if anybody actually watched them, but Chuck Norris jokes were very popular, i.e. "When Chuck Norris does division, there are no remainders."

Just to name others, they were our heroes without capes or powers, we wanted to be like them, not all of them wore a badge.
