First, from a fairly brief glace, the subs are different, but are still pretty similar, and as far as I can tell, contain the same overall meaning.

ghost said he translated them but I am uncertain if he started with a machine translation base, and error-corrected them, or translated them entirely himself. They are quite good in most places. You can certainly get by well with these!

The yifi subs are perhaps more consistently clear in certain areas. I am not sure of their origin. Their filename simply references yifi's web-dl. Some of the lines are nearly identical to ghost's. But these subs are excellent so far.

Some comparisons below. These comparisons highlight some minor differences that may affect clarity. Everything I read in-between these areas (at the beginning of the film) is nearly the same.

I believe it would be useful to keep both. With films that deal with sensitive subjects, I am sometimes afraid that dialogue may be modified to be less suggestive for other audiences, something which I know another member here would not allow to happen. I thank ghost for taking the time to translate and share these subs back in 2019, a process he said was a pain in the ass (the French sure do like their witty- dialogue heavy films).

Thank you pillowbaker for that analysis and comparison. It relieves me that I don't have to feel the need to do it now, as I really have virtually no knowledge of French! Next time I watch it I will try the YIFY subs, as I already watched it with ghost's.

Yes, I started with a machine translation. My French isn't good enough to start translating without it.
