While digging around I came across this little short on this odd little list of potentially flm material.

Was wondering about subs and it looks like the short has been possibly officially uploaded to youtube with full subs! Here ya go:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZVr7tEggA4

I'll try using of those sub grabber services Night told me about but I wanted to post this first for anyone who wanted to watch this with subs.

edit: oh cool it worked! Here are English subs for Laurita, ripped from the yt source using downsub. I haven't checked them yet to see if they're timed or anything.

edit part 2: There is an additional 720p option for downloading over emule, the filename of which once again uses a familiar codification. ;) Not sure if any it's any higher quality than jezevex's file (which I believe is also 720p), but it is 100 megs larger!

Like this post to see ed2k links  [453.95 Mb]

Also curious to note, if you go to the vimeo link that jezevex posted, it kindly allows you to download the film in a few different qualities, including "original", which is 1080p and comes in at a nice big size of 2GB. The quality is fantastic though!

Thank you for the upgrades and the subtitles, pillowbaker!

I too recently discovered the "Original" download option at Vimeo for a different movie, which gave another higher bitrate 1080p version that was four times the size of the standard 1080p version!

EDIT: The subtitles are of course synced with the YouTube video, and also the Vimeo. Pillowbaker's emule 720p link is 25fps rather than 23.976, so I resynced the English subtitles to fit:

2gb for a 20min short! You'd think it would be 4k to be that big! Could probably be 1/3rd that size! But too much GB is better than too few - can always be re-encoded smaller (file size). Well done for finding though!

I've been noticing that vimeo sometimes has this option to grab the "original" file. I can totally understand the size ratio may be too much for some collectors, but I am glad to at least have the option from vimeo. Wish I could get something similar with youtube, though the file grabbers for youtube make a pretty easy job of it anyways. I guess this would be the same as an 8gb file for an 80 minute movie, which is too much for me. I guess I don't think about it as much if the total size doesn't exceed 4 to 5gb.

The 720p file is still available to download on vimeo at 359mb, but I am sure we could do better than that by encoding the 1080p file.
