I thought that the scene was not as I thought when I saw the photos on facebook, actually I have not seen the movie, I just spent looking for clips on the internet and one of them that can be found in emule as 'cinemakids' or 'childrenincinema' ... As soon as I have read the plot on Imbd, due to the fact that I have been thinking about the scene for a long time, Elena was in love with the boy and that is why the situation occurs, I would have liked that she had not rejected it.

Thank you deadman and maria2012 for your clarifications. I now have both deadman's DVD and ghost's upscale. Dammit, I can't just mux audio without making speed-based runtime changes. Grrrr.

With some quick and sloppy cropping off of the black letterbox from screenshots I took from deadman's DVD, I came up with an aspect ratio of approximately 1.61 to 1.64, as opposed to ghost's 1.78. OK, I have to admit that is different!

I just do not see what the differences are in the German and Polish endings. It must be one of those "Name all the differences in these two pictures" sort of things, which I have to stare at for a long time when the picture is STILL.

I was curious and downloaded the 720p file from uloz. It looks best to me (I doubt if it is really an AI-upscale).

It is also cropped like the German DVD. So the only uncropped version seems to be deadman's DVD. The problem is that it has terrible colors (to much exposure). Maybe I can fix this for another upscale.

It is the difference between the two endings
Spoiler:

In the Poland DVD, the male lead killed the bad guy.
In the German DVD, the male lead decided to not kill the bad guy.

The only drawback with Ghost's version is the cropping.
Cropping??? :o I'll have to check it.
Just admit it!! You’re the newly created authority for censoring!!! :D :D

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I did not watch the whole video, it was so long, so I just skipped to the ENDINGS: two characters walking together along railroad tracks overgrown with weeds. THAT I could not see any difference in!

A little before that, as you described in your spoiler, is definitely a major difference. Thank you very much!

I have access (premium link) (just downloading) to this version of the film:

Bandit 1997 MULTI.1080p_AI.DVD.AC3-ChrisVPS

Format : Matroska at 12.4 Mbps

Length : 7.66 GB for 1 h 28 min 39s 8 ms

Video #0 : AVC at 11.7 Mb/s
Aspect : 1920 x 1080 (1.778) at 25.000 fps

Audio #0 : AC-3 at 256 kbps
Infos : 6 channels, 48.0 kHz
Language : pl

Audio #1 : AC-3 at 448 kbps
Infos : 6 channels, 48,0 kHz
Language : en

The premium link will remain valid for a few more hours. If anyone wants I can send it on prive.

If not, I can post a regular link to this fim if anyone is interested.

EDIT:
I don't know if this is just a dvd rip in the original resolution or if it is additionally scaled to 1920 x 1080.
It is certainly not bluray or BD-remux quality.

From the naming I would interpret it as an AI (artificial intelligence software) upscale from DVD to 1080p.

I would say, this is a pretty good opportunity. I'd be interested in seeing how this compares to the full DVD shared here as well as the upscale that pop found. Make sure you download it if you haven't already! We'll figure out how to share it afterwards.
