First of all; if the FLM search function is to be believed, Pixote has yet to be released here.

Secondly; I never bothered dl this before because I always assumed it was only boy themed; perhaps someone can confirm that?

Lastly, please can someone release a copy they already have shared, so we know its a good picture and possibly with subs.
Rather than just posting a bunch of eD2K links that you will find in abundance when you search eMule.

Thanks

I think this is another movie that probably got 'lost in translation'. lol (In the switchover.) I'm pretty sure I remember seeing this one here before.

Actually I saw 'Pixote' [pronounced pee- sho- tee] in the theaters umpteen years ago [ ;) showing my age... ]; it's focus, of course IS the boy 'Pixote'. There's a bit of gay-themed material, but since it's dealing with street children, it has a few girls too.

Overall though, I don't remember anything that's made me want to add this movie to my collection. I've passed on buying this one numerous times; not because it's NOT a great movie , but nowdays I'm pretty much focusing my collection on 'girl-themed' movies.

Seriously, it is an amazing movie when you realize that virtually the entire cast was made up of REAL street children; many who are dead now [including the film's star, Fernando Ramos da Silva]. It is a very grim portrait of Brazilian street life; which is STILL bad today. Boy-themed movie lovers will go to town with this one!! :thumbsup

Thanks for the info kev

Your right, it must have been lost here.

Being BT, I doubt anyone even noticed it had vanished.
