Re: [REL] Bandyta (1997)
Well done Night457 for finding that 720p version by the way! It's the best version, far better than the 1080p popodrome one.
I re-encoded the h265 to h264 for myself (only because my hardware player connected to the TV can't handle h265), changed the sound back to stereo. Ended up at 4.5gb. I did think about upscaling the 720p to 1080p - but my card was running at 1 frame per second. It would take 3days at that pace!
I am pretty certain the 720p is not an upscale from a DVD - shows none of the subtle signs (background creep, wobbling eyes, over sharpening in odd places).

Officialy on YouTube:
(~480p with tinting and black bars, not as good as the 5.85GB PAL ISO)
(Not hotlinking because of referer headers that can lead back to here)

I agree the quality is good, but this h265 does not suit me, and what program did you use to convert the movie to h264David32441 wrote: Mon Apr 01, 2024 1:08 pm Well done Night457 for finding that 720p version by the way! It's the best version, far better than the 1080p popodrome one.

I use the program Eassiy converter, but large files take a long time, to convert such a movie I need 4-5 hours

I'd just use open source tool Handbrake (https://handbrake.fr/). But yes, it'll take a bit of time depending on your system.

I still prefer my DVD to any of the re-encodes. popdrome's version is at least uncropped, but it's a little too compressed for my taste. I'm not familiar with that program you're using but depending on how "helpful" it tries to be with automatically choosing settings you may have to override the default cropping parameters so part of the top and bottom doesn't get cut off. Good luck! Feel free to post the file if you get good results. A high quality .mkv is always welcome.

I downloaded it for video converting and mainly used it for movies from streaming sites, as most of them were downloaded in m3u8 formatdeadman wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 7:54 pmAlex_kaplan wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2024 6:25 pmThanks, I'll try to use Handbrake

I'm always in favor of people sharing direct download links
Of course, if I get a good result, I'll post it

Re: [REL] Bandyta (1997)
The problem is that when converting to x264, I have a lot of lagging sound in many movies
Re: [REL] Bandyta (1997)
I never heard about this exotic software. As you said, you have a cracked version, DId you check it for malware?I use the program Eassiy converter
Yes, I also would recommand Handbrake, but pay attention to the video tab. You have to change the framerate to "same as source". The dafault value is 30 fps, which gives you an ugly result (most movies are in 24 or 25 fps).
Another good choice is Xmedia Recode. It is free, easy to use and gives you a lot of output formats.
I think the video codec has nothing to do with delay of the audio track. I don't know, what's your problem here, so I can't help. The problem is that when converting to x264, I have a lot of lagging sound in many movies

It took me five hours, the quality of the movie has not changed, it is the same, the file size has decreased significantly, but the problem with the sound spoils everything.(speech delay in a movie)ghost wrote: Sun Nov 17, 2024 7:57 pmI never heard about this exotic software.
