[REL] Du hast es versprochen AKA Forgotten (2012)
Hanna and Clarissa were best friends as children. Together with their parents, they spent their vacations on a picturesque island. Shortly after Hanna's ninth birthday, they abruptly broke off contact and only 25 years later did they meet again. Hanna (34) is now married, has a seven-year-old daughter and works as a senior physician in a hospital. There she meets her old friend, who was admitted to the emergency room after a pill overdose.
The two women quickly become friends again, spend wonderful hours together and decide to spend a few days on the island as they used to. Together with Hanna's daughter Lea, they go back to the place of their childhood. When Hanna learns that Maria, a girl from the village with whom she used to play, disappeared as a child and has never reappeared, she sets off in search of the past. Something terrible happened on the island back then. But the closer she gets to the dark secret, the tighter the circle around her and her daughter closes, the greater the threat becomes. In the end, a truth comes to light that is far more terrible and cruel than she could have ever imagined.

Personal Comment:
It was my first film where I discovered Mia Kasalo, whom I then even met in person a few years later at a festival at the premiere of "Amelie rennt".
What I also really like about this film is the sound design. Especially the Dolby Sourround effect really comes into its own and is very well tuned. It partly felt as if you were in the middle of the movie.
And some Screencaps: IMDB
Available on DVD, BD or VOD in Germany. I have no english Subs on my BD, so not sure if there some existing.

We have a release:
Like this post to see ed2k links [3.44 Gb]
I auto-translated the German subtitles into English. I did some quick corrections, but still could contain some translation errors:

Nasuada, ghost, thanks! Somehow I knew it would not be long until ghost found this one.

Well... I think that can be a reason why a forum like this existghost wrote:Thanks for bringing this up to FLM.

And I'm happy if I found something in my collection, who's not listed here.

Re: [REL] Du hast es versprochen AKA Forgotten (2012)
There was about a minute and a half in the subtitles that was still in German! (317-337)
I fixed that, as well as a few minor corrections such as changing "bitte" = "you're welcome" to "please", as appropriate in context.
Good movie, thanks!
Eek! Fingernail!

Im going throigh mia kasalo‘s films right now. she’s done so many kids films/series..and only got more beautiful with each year. Funnily I was aware of her before..from the „Amelie rennt“ thread but now simply came across her casting agency site.Nasuada wrote: Sat Apr 24, 2021 9:50 pmWell...
