Sad news about her. Monday 17 February 2025 Kim Sae-ron, 24, has been found dead at her home in Seoul, according to the Yonhap news agency.

I had just been watching the drama series she was in back in 2013/14. High school love on when I checked more on the synopsis then found out she had died. She had just finished making two movies which are due for posthumous release. Guitar man and Everyday, We.

I had just rewatched Ajeossi for the umpteenth time a few weeks ago. Its optimistic conclusion was always a help when I was depressed. Now, I am not sure I can see it in the same way. I suspect I will not be able to watch Sae Ron in anything anymore.

It is likely to be suicide.
As it is very common in that country and more likely to be related to young celebrities especially those who sing Kpop.

It is quite understandable that young Koreans are under a lot of pressure because of aesthetic and beauty issues that lead them to strong depression and end up taking the easy way out.

Only know her from Man from Nowhere, but always sad when someone that young dies.
