Playwright Ivan Travalian (Pacino) has a Broadway play in rehearsal and the backers want rewrites. His wife (Weld) is leaving him, leaving him as well with four children from her previous marriages plus his own son. And his lead actress (Cannon) wants to move in with him but isn't used to kids.

People may not realize it, but the girl in picture #3 is Elva Josephson - one of my favorite child actresses. She was credited as Elva Leif (or Leff?) in this movie, as her last name changed.
Weird.
But still strikingly gorgeous.

Elva played the young Emmeline in Blue Lagoon with some very OT scenes, before Brooke Shields took over as the older version of Emmeline.Tsuichi1 wrote:People may not realize it, but the girl in picture #3 is Elva Josephson - one of my favorite child actresses. Anyway - I am asking if this can be reshared. I only have 40MB left to download and it hasn't been seen complete since March 3rd. There are 5 other downloaders stuck at the same point.
Thanks

Re: [REL] Author! Author! (1982)
And Elva had about 20 times the acting talent as Brooke. I know we have some Brooke fans here, but to my jaundiced eye she was always very overrated - kinda nice to look at but I had to grit my teeth sometimes. Elva's acting wasn't really that good as young Emmeline but I think a large part of that was the director's fault. I haven't seen Author!, Author! before so I'll give it a look, and thanks!vidman49 wrote:Elva played the young Emmeline in Blue Lagoon with some very OT scenes, before Brooke Shields took over as the older version of Emmeline.
