AKA Najdi menja, lenja
AKA Naydi menya, Lyonya

Some links:

http://childrenincinema.com/showinfo.ph ... enyalyonya
http://www.ozon.ru/context/detail/id/32 ... enincinema
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1673633/

Synopsis: (Crappy AltaVistaBablefish translation! ;) )
First screening of the widely known to the children of all generations and regularly republished Valentina oseyevoy's narrative "dinka". Story about the friendship ' to the centuries ' of girl from the intelligent family and the working young fellow. After joining the revolutionary circles, they became participants in the Civil War.

PLUS:
"Naydi menya, Lyonya!" (1971 Russia)
88 minutes.
Film stars a young boy, age nine, and three girls approximately the same age.
This film would likely be controversial in the western world due to a lengthy skinnydipping scene with the young boy actor Andrei Trofimov and a girl actor named Vitya Elizarov.

Looks to me like there is a source who doesn't show up as one, or who most of us can't connect to. New 9MB chunks keep becoming available every so often and the % complete is slowly rising. No way to know whether the source is really complete though.

Hmmm....

Actually the link wasn't mine; I got it from this site:
http://filmiki.arjlover.net/info/najdi. ... a.avi.html
(I meant to include this addy in the original post; sorry.)

I've gotten quite a few links from there and they've been successful in the past, it just might be this particular movie isn't being shared out much... :(

Hopefully chunk by chunk someone will finally download it... As for me, I leave my parents house today [where I've been vacationing for the holidays] and go back to battle my cable company to see why I can't get online at home... I hope to be back sometime during the next week... :pray (SO until I do, I'm not going to be much help in sharing...)

Good luck with this link. (Hope it's worth the trouble.. :blush )

kev: The site link you posted has a direct link for download. Topmost left.

Can someone with a fast connection get it and reshare on eMule if found to be worthy? Thanks.

EDIT: might need a Russian proxy. :(

Translated Title - "Find Me, Lenya"

Contrary to the synopsis, the only skinny-dipping in this version is a brief scene with two boys. I also found another version that I have not downloaded:

Rannee Rannee Utro made in 1983 tells the same story of the well-bred Dinka, daughter of a revolutionary, and her friend Lyonya, a young deckhand on a boat with a brutal captain. "Rannee" is a miniseries over 3 hours long, while "Naydi" is only 82 minutes, so the tale is more compressed, but it was still enjoyable even without subs. The kids are cute, their singing doesn't make glass break, and the acting is tolerable. :)

Torrents I can find with 1.37GB size say the running time is the same as the one in this thread, so that file is unlikely to be different. Unless everyone is wrong about that scene, it must have been cut from both TV and DVD somewhere along the way.
