Screeners should be ok though, although we can wait until the links are verified

I've had the screener since December. It is crap.

Please remove the links.

Maybe you should ask slimjim directly if he is happy to have his links removed!

Some members might want to see a low quality version rather than wait for a better rip.

I would rather wait for a better one, but that’s no reason to remove lesser quality links.

I think the screener links which I posted, have been confused with the earlier cam versions of this movie which were floating around.
The cam versions had poor colour and bad cropping. The caps Amadaus posted looked to me like they were from a cam version.

However, the screener is an advanced DVD copy, and the quality is quite good. The only downside is that some text saying "For Your Consideration" appears at certain points in the movie.

Below are some caps from the screener, and I've tried to do the same scenes as the previously posted pic. Click on the thumbnail for a larger version.

If people still feel that this is low quality, then I'm happy to remove the links which I had posted.

No, screeners are as good quality as the final DVD, only they have been defaced in some way to make it unsuitable for selling. As abel said, this version has a text message from time to time. This is fine for me - I'm not selling my copies. ;)

Screeners also do not have any extras. This too is irrelevant for us, although I will eventually want subs.

Other techniques (not this movie, but generally) are a watermark in one corner, picture going black and white for several seconds every 15 minutes,... stuff like that.

When I authored this thread, it was intended to remain in the Forthcoming Releases section until its official release. Indeed, I've already seen what is available... it is shit.

Wait for the release, download a good clean copy. :)

The 2 CD DVD Screener is a good clean copy.
(DVD Screener = pre-released DVD for journalists etc.)

It is not Telesync (filmed from the screen with a cam in the cinema).

I moved this thread to REL.
