Wow!
I've sorta followed Jan Saudek's photography for years, and I never knew there was a documentary out about him. (Apparently imdb doesn't know about THIS one!)
Here's his imdb page:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1625753/
THIS picture I know is shown in the film:

This is only one of many he's taken with this particular 'window-to-nowhere' as the backdrop:

Other coolio pix:

[Used as the cover of Soul Asylum's 'Grave Dancers Union' album]

I like his pix, even though personally he might come off as a bit arrogant, I pass it off as 'artistic essentricity'. Unfortunantly he has a fetish for the 'unconventional' looking so you have to wade through a lot of stuff to find OT pix... The image quality of film is not that great, but I found it fun to watch [lol; at least what I've seen so far...].

If you're interested here's another ed2k link to a seminar he did; replete with a slide machine that I'm sure pissed him off quite a bit!: (I don't have any other details on this one:

Re: [REL]JanSaudek:Life,Love,Death andOtherSuchTrifles(1997)
Thanx for that, Kev. This document earned some critics in my (and Saudek´s) country, being labeled as quite superficial. Well, will see.
Re: [REL]JanSaudek:Life,Love,Death andOtherSuchTrifles(1997)
fetish for the 'unconventional
Now why cant they label it like that these days?
Thanks kev
