For me this is one of America's great directors with films like this one, Happiness and another where a family drive many miles to find out what has happened to the husband (don't remember name and not going to spoil by telling more). Basically this guy takes a theme, and makes a film which totally exposes everything to do with it - no matter how bad that might be. Great director and very good film - worth seeing.

I was a little disappointed, but as a story the movie was okay.

LOL!!! :icon_biggrin2

I didn't think it was THAT bad... I have it in my DVD collection... :blush

Though it's not my favorite Todd Solondz film ['Welcome to the Dollhouse' holds that position] I was impressed with the idea of changing out the main character with different actors throughout the film. It added an intriguing element to the storytelling. [imho] :)

(PLUS a couple of the girls were cute in a sad sorta way...)

The cutest girl was actually a boy. Which I regretted. Still a good movie.

Have seen it. The movie was average (not too good not entirely horrible) but that female hero (in the poster) wouldn't be my choice.
A little bit too fatty.
