Same here. And same thing for another popdrome release, Spagaat (99.9%).

When eMule starts downloading a file it gets the file's hashes so it can verify that data it receives isn't corrupted. It looks to me like what is happening here is the one source (popdrome) is sending data for a block which fails the hash check. The AICH hashes localize that failure to a few K within the block, so we all show 99.8% complete on our eMule display but it looks like everyone else has 95%. (Because eMule won't advertise that it has a block available for upload unless that block is fully verified).

So it looks like either the avi data or the emule hashes on popdrome's amule have become slightly corrupted. Or somehow every time a given section of the file is sent it gets corrupted in transit (which is unlikely but can happen, but is also likely to be automatically fixable by AICH unless it's too much corruption.) On this one and also on Spagaat, popdrome should get the files rehashed and see if anything changes (such as the master hash).

Hey guys. Honestly I don't know what the hell went wrong with these.. :crazy
I updated to e new version of aMule that's all. I'll see if I can re-hash the files
and downgrade to the stable version - let me know if that makes any difference.

:think

sorry for the trouble

Popdrome disappeared as complete source (the only one) for most of his recent releases. The same is the issue for some of the bigger releases in the last days as well.

Chto u senki bylo,
Spagaat Like this post to see ed2k links  [176.49 Mb]
The monstrous toilet Like this post to see ed2k links  [87.89 Mb]

should be the same hashes

I have 101 more shared - maybe too many shared files?

Arguably yes......
I'm sharing 16 at present....all my own releases, which i think is probably too many.
Depending on upload capability, different guidelines apply to those who release frequently (obviously yourself included). I normally share until I've uploaded 3 or 4 times the file size then either reduce the priority & deactivate powershare or unshare. The regulars here who download seem to be very good at continuing sharing to allow the file to successfully spread.
If all else fails we know the reshare request always works well! :)

OMG, had no idea - thanks for the advice loverboy. :clap
I'm too generous, always have been.. ;) j/k

But I'll economize my shared folder - and good news for those of you who have usenet --
I'm uploading Spagaat & The Monstrous Toilet to alt.binaries.movies.thelostmovies now --
should be available worldwide in about an hour. :)

And IF you get 'm PLEASE be so kind to put them into yr ED2K folder. Cheers.
Let me know if you like.

Thanks for yer patience and idler and loverboy and FLL and everybodi else for the advice.
