Weiser

Director: Wojciech Marczewski
Year: 2001
Country: [Poland] Poland / [USA] USA / [Switzerland] Switzerland / [Germany] Germany / [Denmark] Denmark
Runtime: 95 minutes
Genre: Mystery
Keywords: boy-nudity, first-kiss

Review:
Summer 1967: 12-year-old kids, Pawel, Piotr, Szymek, and Elka, meet a fascinating, mysterious Jewish boy. David Weiser opens for them a new world – of miracles and mystique. He is scheming something unusual. However, at the very last moment an accidental explosion occurs. Weiser disappears without a trace and despite investigation neither his body nor his clothes can be found.
The year is 2000: Pawel Heller comes back from Germany to his home town. Pawel still cannot forget Weiser's baffling disappearance. Who was this boy? Was the disappearance just another of his tricks? Or was there something more sinister behind it? The long forgotten past comes back to him with magical force.

[Controversial scenes] Controversial scenes:
2 boys are presumably nude when walking through the meadow.

Children's Cast:
[Andrzej Basiukiewicz] Andrzej Basiukiewicz Dawid Weiser - 12 years old
[Maciej Jaszczuk] Maciej Jaszczuk Pawel - 12 years old
[Olga Frycz] Olga Frycz [15] Elka - 12 years old

Another of those beautiful films.

My English is bad! I try all the same. It is necessary that the subtitle has the same name as the film and is in the same directory. Example:
Weiser.avi and Weiser.srt to read it on a computer.
For "hard coded" it in the film it is necessary VirtualDub.
What do you want do exactly?

wafaschaanti: easiest is to give the avi and srt-files the same name and keep them in the same folder on your HD. When you're playing the file in vlc, you will find a subtitle option under the Video-tab in vlc... From there you'll play the movie with subtitles.
