Yes, be very suspicious of the ioffer DVD. These episodes were posted in DVD format on Usenet about 2 1/2 years ago, that is quite possible where the youtube came from, I will have to dig them out and check. These have been on my list of things to look for but haven't checked intensively.

From the nfos:
WWOD-Whiz Kid and the Carnival Caper

LaNGuaGe English
ViDeo NTSC

This post continues a series of episodes from the Disney Anthology series which premiered in 1954 as Disneyland. The show underwent several title changes including, Walt Disney Presents, Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, Disney's Wonderful World. It remains one of the longest running shows in television history. The material for these transfers come from a variety of sources. Some are transfered from DVD, some from VHS, a few from laserdisc and others from VHS captures from television when the show aired on The Disney Channel. Since Spetember of 2002, despite pleadings from fans, The Disney Channel has purged itself of all classic Disney television programming so to fill the void for the fans, I'll be posting all the episodes that I have (about 160).

The Whiz Kid and The Carnival Caper original aired as a two-part anthology show. It was later combined to make a feature length presentation and is presented here in that format. The cast from Whiz Kid and the Mystery at Riverton is reunited in another mystery with a carnival as a backdrop.it originally aired on the anthology series on 1/11/76 and part two was aired the following week. It was rebroadcast on 7/16/78 with part two again being rebroadcast the following week.
WWOD-Whiz Kids and the Mystery At Riverton

This episode originally aired as a two-part program on the anthology series on 1/06/74 and 1/13/74, it was rebroadcast on 5/19/74 and 5/26/74. A young inventor tries to win an essay in his school on city government. While trying to do some research he overhears a plot by the city treasurer to make a profit in a crooked land deal turning the inventor into a sleuth along with his friends. The Sequel Whiz Kids and the Carnival Caper will follow
Child of Glass is also one of that series of Usenet posts, maybe that's how you came across these ;) Don't know if the postings are still happening, will have to check.

Thanks FLL
do i gather correctly that you might have some form of dvd from usenet?

based on my gut feeling and yours i will skip the ioffer dvd. these two movies i will explore further than my usually search. the youtube versions having me wanting more(such as sound). so far i have found a couple other films i was looking for in process of looking for these two. i also found some links that will help find some more i haven't heard of. i found this site that i consider very Disney obsessed http://www.dvdizzy.com/index.html. i also found a listing about Walt Disney Treasure collection that may have at one time released these? i could not confirm this. :think
