It's really cool you're bringing all these nice movies to FLM but the files are so big I don't know if anyone will download them.

Just a friendly suggestion - try AutoGK again. Google can point you to a bunch of tutorials to help you get it to work for you.

I agree with file sizes this big I won't grab them. Most of us here do rips under 2gigs.

Art, Give it another try. If you get stuck one of us will help you.
http://handbrake.fr/ Another easy program.
http://www.doom9.org/autogk.htm Good reference guide for autoGK.

http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/dvddec.htm Reference guide for DVD Decrypter.
http://adubvideo.net/videos/dvd-decrypter-explained Instruction video easy step by step.

I rarely rip directly from a dvd. First I extract the movie with DVD Decrypter creating one single vob. file. This file you can use very easily with auto GK or Handbrake only a few simple steps with great results. You will be able to get rid of the black bars as well.

You obviously like releasing. However you also get frustrated by no one downloading. Smaller files people will download. ;)
