Don't worry about the file size; a friend with fast connection will be helping to share for a couple of days, so if you are quick, you'll get it fast ;)

Thank you, I look forward to this. :thumbsup

This looks very familiar to me. Perhaps it was a request in the past or part of a series of movies?

have you got any information about this movie Yoko?. what's it about?,3.7gigs is too big a file for people to use up their limited bandwidth on without at least a few screencaps to tempt them.there doesn't appear to be much about this on the usual movie sites.

A rough translation from the back DVD cover...
Alberta is 6 years ... and 3 days old. It's Sunday and her mom and dad are sleeping quietly.

She gets up and wants to eat french toast for breakfast, so she decides to make some. Mom wakes up and gets upset over the mess in her kitchen. Alberta gets angry and decides to runaway and change her name to Kurt.

She builds a house on a boat near the jetty. She gets help with the construction by a lady who lives in a magic boat. Mom and dad miss her, and often comes to visit - very often. Suddenly, they are not so busy or angry anymore and they want to play with her.
It appears to have English subtitles so that's good enough for me! :D

Sorry, I wanted to release this ASAP, so people could use the fast download option. Currently it should take about 4 hours to download the ISO.

I tried to re-encode the ISO to a smaller avi, but the video is interlaced and very noisy, so getting it smaller without significant quality reduction is difficult.

Thanks FAA for translation :)

The ISO has only Danish subs, though :(

Thank you yokodreamer and thank you starfish. I don't have the bandwidth for the .iso and I didn't find anything with an eMule search so I figured I'd have to wait awhile for this one. The little girl is a cutie.

Thanks starfish for providing a smaller rip. I did not realize that there was a demand for it, given that the ISO could be downloaded in just a couple of hours (usually the *upload* bandwidth of ADSL is limited, but everybody has enough *download* bandwidth, right :think).

As I said, I tried to make a smaller rip myself, but the quality of 2CD size was IMO too low. According to your caps, the quality of your rip seems to be similar.

this has quite clearly been ripped from vhs(maybe betamax) so the quality will never be better just because you recode it no matter how big you make the framesize.
my caps are a guide to the movie content and are always resized to 1024x768 so are never a true representation of the movie screen size.i understand you being a bit pissed off but anyone who wants your release can still get it.most members won't download large files if they can help it.
