[REL] A Dog of Flanders (1999)

A twelve year old boy (David Ladd) finds an abandoned and abused dog then takes it home and nurses it back to health. The animal pays the youngster back by helping him pull a milk cart into the city once his grandfather falls ill and can no longer work.

But its cruel ex-owner is nearby and eventually decides he wants the dog back. Can our little hero keep his new pet and pal out of the clutches of evil?

Actually, this is just a subplot to a more touching one about a child aspiring to be an artist yet too poor to pursue his dreams, especially once his grandfather dies and leaves him with nothing but debts. A thoroughly pleasant family film!
Most likely a Japanese animation, still it says 'A' Dog of Flanders and not 'The', so there is a chance.

Rich :)

A Dog of Flanders (1999) [USA]

http://www.rarefilmfinder.com/showfilm.php?id=4971
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0160216/
IMDb wrote:Poor but happy, young Nello and his grandfather live alone, delivering milk as a livelihood, in the outskirts of Antwerp, a city in Flanders (the Flemish or Dutch-speaking part of modern-day Belgium). They discover a beaten dog (a Bouvier, a large sturdy dog native to Flanders) and adopt it and nurse it back to health, naming it Patrasche, the middle name of Nello's mother Mary, who died when Nello was very young. Nello's mother was a talented artist, and like his mother, he delights in drawing, and his friend Aloise is his model and greatest fan and supporter.

i can see it's the same file,i got this from a torrent,i take it that means it's the same version that someone has put on torrent, so it's got the same hash?

Maybe different filename but exact same hash and filesize. No worries.

I know you've been told this before, but your screencaps look washed out. Here's a comparison:

Mine

Yours

I'm not complaining - having any screencaps is a plus! :)

Starfish's screencaps are always enlarged. I can't remember last time he posted unchanged? Unchanging the pic lets us see exactly what it will look like through a media player. ;)
I never say anything because he also includes all the file info and this too tells you what to expect.

its a filter on the resizing software i use,i sometimes need to brighten up the image, instead of editing each individual image which would take too much time,i resize, sharpen and brighten in batch mode,it's the default setting.
i've been known to post 30+ pics at one time ,imagine the time that would take. :o
i'll deal with it in future,
