Il mistero del lago (2009)

Post by blueroses »   0 likes

Hi there,

I'm new to the site but stumbled upon it because I'm hoping to get some information about this version of the Turn of the Screw. Has anyone seen it and if so, could you tell me what your opinion of it was? I'd love to be able to see it but I doubt it is available in the states yet. :( Does anyone know if it's for sale yet?

Thanks,
Rachel

It's been recently mentioned in our "Unverified" section, meaning someone found it somewhere and thought it deserved investigation, but that's as far as it's gone so far. There appears to be a link to a site to download via rapidshare. Noone knows anything about US availablity at this point. But probably more than half of the films at FLM have never been sold in the US (R1 DVDs).

I am moving your question to the "general" section, to keep things orderly only movies found and verified (i.e. "released" at FLM) are in the Italy forum you posted in.

Nope, it's "The Turn of the Screw" (1992) dubbed in Spanish.

Here's "Otra vuelta de tuerca" (1985, *not* the 1981 mini-series):

I also found "The Turn of the screw" (2009):

This movie has been made so many times in so many countries (USA, UK, Mexico, Italy, and France have been mentioned in this thread). This is more than verified but it's a tossup which forum to put it in so I'm putting it in Unlisted and you can pick which one you want. :)

Don't forget to check out "Presence of Mind" (https://www.first-loves.net/forums/v ... ce+of+mind)

BTW this was a great idea to combine for fans of this story :D

This (Presence of Mind) and "Otra vuelta de tuerca" (above) are two of my favorite adaptations.

Also Un jeu d'enfants (https://www.first-loves.net/forums/v ... %27enfants)
