This is possibly my first ever request here,i've been waiting for about 6 months on a torrent with hardcoded swedish subs,but it looks like it'll never complete.
This belongs here,there must be a decent copy out there somewhere,apart from youtube snippets (and lies, to get you to sign up for online streaming sites).

I have seen this and may have a vhs around, I will check my attic. Another good twist on the Alice tale.

This was actual one of two movies if I recall.

A little something for Starfish.

I found my tape but had a few problems. First off at some point I must have dropped something on it because the tape was cracked and a few pieces came off when I pulled it out of the sleeve. I did an old school trick and took it a part and then grabbed an old Ghostbusters tape I had and put the tape from Magic in the Mirror inside it. The tape was a little crinkled in a few parts and I managed to straighten it out. Also when playing i found it was heavily interlaced and displayed tracking lines at the bottom. Fixed interlace but left un-cropped because the first program I used cropping this for some reason the sound went out of sync? Basically did a couple of rips and 3 different encodes before I got a good copy. Plays smooth, sound is good, picture is good for a vhs, only has the very small tracking line at the bottom of which doesn't detract from enjoying the film. You can see how small the tracking line is at the bottom of the snap shots.

i'm glad to see you're as determined as i am when it comes to rescueing old stuff.i remember taking the spools out of a betamax tape and replacing them with ones from a blank,then returning it to the library,complaining about the lack of picture,i held my face stern as the lady apologised and gave me a replacement.
