Synopsis:
Xu plays Mei, an only-child, trapped in a financially stable, middle class family that is fracturing around her as
her parents careen towards divorce. Luckily she has a doting grandfather (Kenneth Tsang, last seen in OVERHEARD 2),
who fuels her already unwieldy imagination by carving her a menagerie of wooden animals that adorn her bedroom and
populate her dreams. When grandpa falls ill, all seems lost for Mei - only for a new boy at school, Jay (Eric Lin) -
to capture her attention, not least because he is an accomplished artist. Soon enough these two lonely souls find one
another and, looking for a way to escape their real-world troubles, embark on a fantasy-fuelled journey to grandpa's
isolated cottage in the far-off mountains.

Re: [REL] Starry Starry Night (2011) [Taiwan, China, Hong Ko
Many thanks for this release, Jacen!!
I'm hoping that 'Taiwan' is in the list of countries because the movie was filmed there..
I lived there for a couple of years during my teens and fell in love with the 'Lovely Island'...
I've got a few other movies in my collection that were filmed there and though I've only recognized one scene [shot going to the Grande Hotel] between all of them, it's still nice to catch glimpses of a country I have such fond memories of...
Thanks again for bringing this to FLM!

Glad you enjoyed it kev.kev wrote:Many thanks for this release, Jacen!!
I hope there's going to be a Taiwan section too.
Guest, have you tried VLC player
Hum, I can play the movie with almost all my players, so maybe it's a codec problem.
Try downloading the K-Lite Codec Pack, which you can find by google.
Also, here's a little info anout Vmr9 that may be of use.

I hope you get it to work. mkv files are actually pretty neat if you can use it.

i believe it's telling you that you need to change the settings in order to read subs.
open mpc, click on view/options expand the playback menu ,click on output. you should see this...
in the bottom of the box it says it says 'required for internal subtitle renderer' you need to tick the output boxes with 2 asterisks to enable subs.
i hope this is helpful.
