Synopsis
A hospital is probably the worst place to be on May Day. Although they have never met before, Mira and Johannes escape together from the children's ward and head through the night-time corridors to Mira's secret place.
In der Nacht begegnen sich Mira und Johannes im Krankenhaus. Beide sind wütend, dass man sie an diesem Feiertag nicht nach Hause lässt. Johannes erwischt Mira, als sie durch die nächtlichen Flure schleicht. Doch statt sie zu verraten, humpelt er auf seinen Krücken einfach mit ihr und lässt seine schlechte Laune über die bevorstehende Operation an ihr aus. Mira führt ihn durch düstere Kellergänge zum Klinikschwimmbad, ihrem geheimen Ort, an dem sie das Kranksein vergisst. Die beiden Teenager feiern dort ein kleines Fest und verlieren nach und nach ihren Argwohn voneinander. Als Johannes Mira sogar in seine Fluchtpläne einweiht, versucht sie ihn umzustimmen. Doch da wird ihr Ausflug jäh unterbrochen. Finnland 2000

At night, Mira and John meet in the hospital. Both are angry that they can not at this holiday home. John caught Mira, as she sneaks through the dark corridors. But instead of betraying it, he just limps on his crutches with her and takes out his bad mood on the upcoming surgery on her. Mira takes him through dark basement corridors to hospital swimming pool, her secret place where she forgets the illness. The two teens celebrate there a little party and gradually lose their suspicions of each other. When John Mira dedicating even in his escape plans, they tried to persuade him. But as her trip is rudely interrupted.
Any how, I went with the title the director used for all the festivals this was released at and the title of the dvd. In English it translates 'Into the night'.
