This film will be best followed if you are familiar with the Russian language, but my understanding of its plot has two brothers, roughly eight and ten years old, idolizing a visiting relative. Their strict yet loving dad finds himself a bit jealous, but perhaps the boys will come to realize who is best for them by the time the ending credits role. Nicely done.
Hopefully I'll have English subs for this one in a few weeks.

Unfortunately the subs are out of sync in places :( it's actually like this on the DVD :|

If anyone wants to fix them... good luck :lol:

I have the software which it is necessary to synchronize the subtitles. As soon as I charged the totality of the film and his subtitles : I test. If it is good I put it on line.

what do you use to adjust the subs? i have another movie that needs it

I usually use Subtitle Workshop.

It seems to do the job well for any subs that just need minor adjustments.

I prefer "sub station alpha V4.08". Its employment is not always very easy but it allows all the modifications of subtitles.
I did not finish yet uploading Frantsuz... it is long! Probably at the end of this week.

I had fun to make a small translation of the film in french language. It is not "great art" but that can help. It is on EDK.
