Plot

Heidi lives with her grandfather, the Alp-Uncle. Together with her friend, the goatherd Peter, she spends a good time in the Swiss mountains.
The village priest visited the Alp-Uncle. He asks him to come along with Heidi to the village, because the new church bells to be hung. Around the bells hang a village festival is held and traditionally it is for the children to help with the hanging of bells. And Heidi should not be missing. In addition, they could be doing the same with the children befriend the village, as it soon anyway should visit the village school. The Alp-Uncle is not excited about it, because he has fallen out with the villagers. This accuses him of being responsible for a fire in which five houses and the church tower are burned. But the fact is that the uncle has not caused the fire or otherwise contributes to blame, but even in the rescue his only son, Heidi's father lost. A short time later, Heidi's mother died of grief over the loss.
Aunt Dete, a sister of Heidi's mother was indeed the custody transfer for Heidi; as they have a place in Frankfurt had begun, she had but Heidi unceremoniously left the Alp-Uncle.
Detention has now reminded of the child. Detention has been employed in the stately home Sesemann as a cook. Mr. Sesemann looking for his daughter Klara a companion, because Clare has her diphtheria disease paralyzed. And this role is now to take Heidi. Without further ado, outwits an end to the Alp-Uncle and kidnapped Heidi to Frankfurt.
With Klara Heidi befriends quickly and helps where she can. However, it is in its unspoilt naturalness of the horrors of the posh-prissy Miss Rotte Meyer, the governess of Clare. Also all staff, especially the valet Sebastian are very fond of Heidi's warmth. And then happens almost like a small miracle: Klara, strengthened by Heidi loving care, can someday autonomously take the first steps back. When Mr. Sesemann returns from a long journey, he can close his healthy child beaming with joy in his arms. Out of gratitude he wants Heidi, who has accomplished this miracle, to child rather than accept. But the longing for home and the grandfather leaves the child not going.
After Heidi sleepwalking and even seriously ill, the insightful Dr. Classen, a good friend of sesemannschen house, Mr. Sesemann are the Council, Heidi in her home, back to the grandfather let. And so it happens. Prior to giving the girlfriends a firm promise that Klara comes to visit Heidi for the holidays. The disputes between the Alp-Uncle and the villagers are settled and on Sunday enters the grandfather with Heidi's hand the village church.

Just out of curiousity...if the movie has Switzerland in it's title,why post this in Unlisted ? :think

I'm surprised at that,come to think of it..i can't think of any outstanding swiss films,or any at all in fact.
