I see you've been a member here since march. Surely you must have noticed by now, that 90% of the stuff posted here is in divx/xvid format.

Unless you're standalone dvd player is able to play DiVX ( mine is ), you will FIRST have to convert the .avi to something your player can play.

A .vob of Maladolescenza would be at least 5x a larger file and would therefore take MUCH longer to download through the Ed2k network.

My advice: install the divx or an open source xvid codec on your computer and get a utility that will convert and burn this to DVD.

THEN you'll be able to watch it on yer DVD player. I'm afraid there's no easier way..

If your DVD player claims to play DIVX, there's a good chance it will play most of the .avi files at FLM. (Some of them are encoded in a way that won't work with some DIVX-compatible players, but that's a minority). So you might try viewing it on your DVD player even if it doesn't work on your system.

I understand your general frustration, but the players and codec packs emuler listed are probably the easiest way to get yoru system set up, and even then there are sometimes problems. But that's the price we pay for getting movies via peer-to-peer, if it were so easy anyone could do it with absolutely no effort the film studios would be even more aggressive against it.

BTW: The rip posted here as ed2k link is from this DVD. So i don't expect something new.
