But you already did their work for them on that one, ghost! :)
I know, but that would be an offical remastered HD-version. But maybe they would crop the picture to 16:9. Who knows... :?

I mentioned Árvácska because of the same actress. Sure Angyali udvozlet would be a dream.

If you get the full original frame that's a good thing! But yeah, if they take a 4:3 picture and chop off the top and bottom to get 16:9 it sucks. You lose too much of the image. Angyali udvozlet in full HD would be amazing. I hope the people who remastered Olyan mint otthon get around to it someday!

I have a certain 1970s TV series with the first season incorrectly released on DVD at 1.78. After fan outcry, the later seasons released returned to the correct 1.33. Nearly nineteen years later, I am still pissed that they ruined that first season.

From the screenshots of torrents for the later Amazon 1080p streaming of the series, it looks like all 3 seasons are now consistently cropped. That is why more and more I find myself leaving the past in the past, deciding I simply do not care anymore about the things I used to like. The rights-holders want to revise something to a new "improved" form to appeal to new audiences? Fine, include me out.

Fortunately "Olyan mint otthon" was originally presented widescreen and is still widescreen, though in this case it was not something I saw back in the 1970s anyway.

Hey, I finally watched this! (After being disappointed with the previous old VHS quality.) I enjoyed it quite a bit, although I wanted to smack the living crap out of the spoiled, selfish, egotistical writer character. "I want something so I must have it! Here is money, you must give!"

I noticed the cast includes these actors and roles:

Zsuzsa Czinkóczi - "Zsuzsi"
Anna Karina - "Anna"
László Szabó - "Laci"
Éva Szabó - "Éva"

That is such a coincidence. If it weren't for the fact that they were all well known and in many other films (some of which I have seen), I suppose I would have to declare that they all had fake names to hide their real identities. :P  According to my previously posted logic, anyway.

Ghost, other than the subtitles being external is there any significant difference to your video version from the direct download? Did you make any corrections to the subtitles? (Note to others - they were excellent, but every subtitle has the occasional misspelling or other minor error.)

Nope. The video is exactly the same. I only made the audio a bit louder.

About the subtitles: They were fine. I always do an error-check in SubtitleEdit to correct too long lines, too short/long timings etc. So they are not exactly the same. It could be that there were spelling mistakes, I don't remember.

I have the movie (Annunciation/Angyali üdvozlet) but it will take me a while to find it. Sorry, I don't speak English. Google translate helps.

Angyali üdvözlet (1984) is a popular movie here. If you have an upgrade that would be lovely!

(I am sure many FLM members use machine translation in order to post. I understand you perfectly.)
