Katja Bienert, a cover girl in 1974

Post by Ziggy Plock »   1 likes

I've always had doubts that Katja Bienert is the age she claims she is, not just because of the way she looks but much more because of the roles she took which are the roles fitting a more mature girl, like 16-ish, 17ish

But, it seems that she was on a magazine cover in May 1974, and that she really looked 8 years old. The magazine in question was
"bunte Blumenwelt"

My question:
Could the honourable panel perhaps perform a bit of web sleuthing, and dig this magazine-cover up? I do realize this won't be hard proof, since, it could be any 8 year old girl, but still.......

If you can say she really looked 8, then you've seen it, right? Why can't you find it again? I'm confuuuused.

I would be interested if anyone finds it.

"bunte Blumenwelt" is a magazine about flowers:

Ah, no, I wish. I read it somewhere in a forum. so, not the most reliable info. Hence I asked for someone to produce the photo.

Gotcha. I even looked on eBay to see if the magazine was being sold as a Katja collector's item. No luck.

Would be interested to read those articles myself (are tabloid magazines kept in a library?), but I guess already the titles are a shocking reminder of how times have changed

I don't know about actual tabloids, but I have seen some flexibility on what is on display based on how large a budget the library has. But as for keeping old issues, the ancient tradition was to scan newspapers and magazines to microfilm or microfiche and then discard the originals to save space. They could be viewed in the library.

Surely computerized scanning has taken their place, but the availability of the scans would be subject to copyright restrictions. I don't think they would share them online. You would still have to go to the library. And I am guessing they do not even get trashy magazines like these in the first place. However, I have never been in a German library, let alone one back in the freewheeling 1970's, so I don't know how broadminded they were. It all comes down to what the public wants and what there is money to get.

There are of course individuals who scan old magazines and share them online, but that is mostly for the pictures rather than the articles.

The mostly likely source for the articles is people who never throw anything out and have houses filled with stacks of magazines, and then decades later their interesting collections are sold on eBay. There are old issues of "Neue Revue" on eBay but I did not see this one.

Meanwhile, I've been performing the average 1,6 second google search and found something out about Katja Bienerts MOTHER, Evelyn Gutkind-Bienert: I read this 2017 article claiming that Katja Bienert went missing, and that "her 66 year old mother (SIXTY SIX!!!) was worried about her". Fast aritmethic told me that if she was 66 in 2017, she must've been born in 1951 and I knew Katja is from 1-9-1966, so.... her mother had sex and a baby, aged 14 (FOURTEEN!!!)???
Turns out, it was not quite thát bad. The article (read here) was sloppy. Her mothers birth date is somewhere in 1950. Which means that she would've been 16 years and 8 months old at MOST at the time of Katja's birth, or, 15 years and 8 months, at least. Which means her mother did too have underage sex, she would've been 15 years and 11 months at "best", or, at "worst", depending on your POV, 14 years and 11 months.
And yes, this all assumes that Katja is her eldest child.

Also, mother Bienert did at least 5 of those German soft-core sex flicks, starting aged 19-20 with Sex pervers (1970), release date August 1970. Do the math. It's not really underage sex, but still under 19. They even acted together in my first released film :
Kenn' ich, weiß ich, war ich schon! (1981)

So, all and all, perhaps it's not so odd that Katja has had boinking nude roles aged 13...

Yes, they sure have. Color Climax and all that.

In principle, you're wrong for two reasons: One, the Germans don't consider these magazines trashy, since they are general interest magazines, covering sports, politics, men's stuff etc. , they're not focused solely on porn. Two, these are medium-sized, pretty well known magazines.

That's some interesting information you found!

I can't say I find teen pregnancies or teen marriages surprising in any country or any era of human history. What I find notable is the reverse: the trend in recent decades in some countries and economic groups to delay marriage and breeding to advanced old age, like 30 or 40! In recent years Germany raised the minimum age for marriage to 18 -- but the age of consent is still 14 (if both partners are under 18). (Just like you, I did a quick Google search.) I know many folks who started younger. It may be a bad idea, but it is a fact of life.

I admit I certainly know almost nothing about German magazines. But there are plenty of non-porn magazines that I readily dismiss as "trashy" or outright trash! All the tabloids and celebrity gossip magazines I see at the supermarket checkout counter are trash. I do not expect to find them in a library, which is really my only point.
One, the Germans don't consider these magazines trashy, since they are general interest magazines, covering sports, politics, men's stuff etc. , they're not focused solely on porn. Two, these are medium-sized, pretty well known magazines.
Exactly the same argument made for Playboy for 60 years. Indeed it did have great interviews, fiction, movie reviews, political editorials ... and noxious cologne ads. I found it readily at newsstands but never in libraries. Maybe they kept it in a restricted viewing area and I had to ask? The real question is, do Germans keep these rags in their libraries? Maybe.

What pains I have gone through to try and stop being a pack rat myself! I am still grateful to those who are, because they save things that eventually prove to be interesting. I just don't want to live in their houses.
