Or release the movie with original year but also mention its released in 2022? Just a thought, I'll leave this to you experts!
Experts, huh?
Most of the time we seem to go with the year a movie was originally released, no matter when it was actually filmed. This is how IMDB lists movies. We generally go with the IMDB entry because it is the most commonly used film information site. But it is not always correct, I know. We do not have to slavishly follow IMDB information if we can show it is likely incorrect, such as when other film sites have competing information.
The IMDB entry has the Russian release date as 20 January 2022. Kinopoisk has the production year as 2020 and the Russian premiere as 20 January 2022:

And there is also this quote from
https://www.vokrug.tv/product/show/16389634001/
(Translated to English):
At first, the film was called " Our Children " («Наши дети»), and the creative team was headed by Artem Aksenenko . However, when Mikhail Efremov left the project , they decided to reshoot the picture and changed the name.
Filming took place in the spring of 2018. Initially, the premiere of the film was scheduled for December 2018, but for many reasons it was repeatedly postponed.
Now we have THREE different years to choose from!
I am sure at this point you regret my lengthy discussion.
I edited the top of your top post to show both the production year and the release year. We also have multiple alternate titles listed, so anyone is sure to find it on a sitewide search. Does that sound good??
