As the name says, there are two parts. Is this correct? Because the first one is already 1.17GBs big....

With all the recent Tracey Gold enthusiasm on the forum, I wonder why this one hasn't gotten a bump. It features an extensive OT scene with a 9 year-old Miss Gold being treated for bee stings (which isn't noted in the RFF entry). She's not a principal character by any means, but her screen time is memorable.

Does anyone have this one hidden away somewhere? I'm sure a re-release would be much appreciated. :)

I'm quietly optimistic............
An NTSC VHS has been listed 3 times recently on fleabay & has failed to attract any bids at 99 pence starting price. I could probably just about run to that! ;)
I've messaged the seller asking him to relist. Fingers crossed. :pray

A message to the seller achieved a response & the deal was done off eBay for the sum of 3 GBP including postage.
Although obviously lightly played because of the absence of tracking & other glitches this is a VHS rip of not particularly good quality. Despite VCR dismantling to manually clean the heads & careful attention to tape winding I'm guessing it's simply degradation of 30-year-old magnetic tape so it comes with washed out colours & a none-too-sharp image. Really, this only warrants a 700mb rip but I've adjusted the file size to reflect the 143 minute running time.
My thanks to 'Guest' for the original (now unsourced) release & Hieronymus for resurrecting the interest.

Wow!!

Many thanks lb for all the time and effort you take to deliver these rips to FLM! Your work is GREATLY appreciated!!

I remember when this aired quite a few years ago.. In the same vein as Little House on the Prairie and Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman; schmaltzy but endearing little period piece that just makes you feel good!! :thumbsup

Thanks again, lb for taking the time to purchase, clean-up and bring this film to us. :onfire

I'm sure this has aired recently on the 'bargain bucket' UK satellite channels & will continue to do so. Trouble is, the quality will be much better but it certainly won't be 143 minutes long, in fact more likely 90 minutes by the time it's been butchered to fit a 2 hour time slot & the commercials removed. There'd also be a good chance the bits of interest to us would be a casualty! :wall
Shame.......because this rip is really one I'm not impressed with! :wall
