This film will be faithful to the original, in fact the director is always him "Robert Rodriguez" the one who made other classic "Spy Kids" in the past. Netflix chose him as the best director. I'm sure this film will be a great success, and judging by the official cover it was done in an extraordinary way. America can always do better.

I dunno, I find it hard to imagine anyone other than director Robert Rodriguez and longtime producer (and former wife) Elizabeth Avellan having full control over the Spy Kids franchise: they own it. Netflix did not choose him, they made a monetary deal with him and are the distributors. He chose them.

My one disappointment is that this is supposedly about "the children of the world's greatest secret agents" but I do not see Carmen and Juni anywhere in the cast! I wanted the new kids to be cousins and the children of the original Spy Kids sister-brother team. If Carmen and Juni were recast with different actors, that is just WRONG!!
