My port test fails and I cant get it to actually connect. I have set up port forwarding through my router and opened ports with my firewall and followed all the instructions in the emule setup document and I still cant get it to work.

That’s unfortunate. With Mullvad vpn it’s so easy (and maybe safer) when it comes to port forwarding

A vpn that allows port forwarding would make it quite easy to setup eMule. Then again. Port forwarding is not a MUST to be able to download through ed2k. Just better.
