Eight-year-old Martha and her younger sister Linda must learn the art of compromise when their parents go away in search of work and they are left with what initially appears to be the nanny from hell.
When two brave sisters, aged eight and four, discover that their aunt is going to babysit while thier parents are out of town, they're not too pleased. Aunt Una doesn't have any children of her own and she's pretty strict. Worst of all, she hates pets and puts a stop to the girls plan to adopt an adorable retreiver puppy. When the girls mischievous grandpa gives them a clue about what's bugging aunt Una they get a great idea! They set out on an hilarious mission to make aunt Una's dreams come true.
