I never understood why anyone wanted to trash someone's efforts when they deserve applause and respect for going to the trouble of bringing something new to everyone's attention. Nobody's going to like every film brought to FLM - if something doesn't seem interesting, you don't have to download it... but I know I've missed a lot of good films because the subject didn't strike a spark at the time.ptguardian wrote:Someone must have never played the glad game...
Anyways, this is a good movie. Ignore the previous lame comments from the old site posted way back in 2005. If you liked the version with Hayley Mills from 1960 you will probably like this one. The amount of detail put in this movie to make it period is impressive (Set in 1913) and very cute Georgina Terry does a charming job turning everyone from sour chumps to glad & grateful . Just like the movie from 1960 I had a smile on my face after watching.
Thanks for this, ptg.
