I kind of like that. Little Darlings kind of stuff. Unfortunately I don't understand German.abel wrote:With "teenager stuff" I mean not the age of actresses but the topic of the film, discussions about boys etc. Not every film needs to be an artwork for me, but this kind I usually avoid.

It's not even really teen based, more at "late preteen raging hormones...[citation needed] Even the moms are hot. It's all I can do to keep my schnitzel in my pants.

720p upgrade?

This is the first movie, where most of them think boys are yucky, they do NOT wear bikinis, and they are obsessed with saving livestock chickens from the soup kettle. I found a 720p TVrip on emule. Here are English uncorrected machine-translated subtitles and the original German subtitles:

(Yes, I actually do not mind the girls calling themselves the "wild chickens" instead of the "wild chicks"! Accurate translations be damned!)
720p German language:

Re: [REL] Wilden Hühner, Die (2005)
Hey thanks for the upgrade, Night!!
I've actually been trying to download an iso of this off emule but it's been stuck at about 90%. It's been a few weeks with no new bytes brought in, so I might give up. But I've been interested in getting a higher quality version of this. Dunno why, but the premise and screens interested me and a few members have said it was a good movie in this thread. (I do believe the screens Art posted above in 2008 are from the second movie, may have misled some people.)
I look forward to watching the wild chickens crew with subs!

Huh, I have not seen that ISO in my searches! Does it have a strange filename? It is most likely PAL (576) so it might be worthwhile to wait if you EVER saw it complete. (Mouse hover over the file. I happen to think that a full 576-DVD with a clean image is often better looking than a watermarked 720p TVrip.) The old-timey emulers sometimes waited MONTHS to complete a file! I tried to get a full-DVD torrent of this one but it was totally dead. Likewise, a blu-ray-rip torrent of all 3 films was totally dead.pillowbaker wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 3:44 am I've actually been trying to download an iso of this off emule but it's been stuck at about 90%.
Actually another "A" member, Amadeus. But YES, that is totally from the second movie. It is confusing that the 1st and 2nd movies are in this thread and the 2nd and 3rd are in another thread. It is so intertwined that I would have a hard time properly splitting the posts, so I won't bother!(I do believe the screens Art posted above in 2008 are from the second movie, may have misled some people.)
popdrome's lovely 1080p rips for the 2nd and 3rd are now available again complete:

Re: [REL] Wilden Hühner, Die (2005)
Did you make this yourself? Cuz I must say, the translation looks most triumphant!
Excellent question! It's interesting, but yes and no. You probably already know this, pardon me if you do, and pardon me if I am wrong and full of crap. German is know to be incredibly consistent with its spelling, but it seems that writers with different native languages often get away with consistently substituting alternate letter combinations in place of certain accented German letters. I am not entirely sure if it's only outsiders who do this, but it does seem Germans usually maintain the accent marks.
So, sometimes you'll see with the ü, a ue is substituted. Of course this will flummox most searches. Don't just take my word for it. It seem to be English digraphs creeping in to other languages.
Another one often subbed out is the ß as you probably already know. Weiß and Scheiße are sometimes weiss and Scheisse. Sorry for my lack of German vocabulary. Alles klar?
Search emule for just "huehner" and you'll find this:

I got 6.1gb out of 7.71gb down. I'm still sourcing it if you like!
Oops If you're reading this, sorry Mr. Art.Actually another "A" member, Amadeus. But YES, that is totally from the second movie.
Could that possibly be the torrents from blizzardkid?Likewise, a blu-ray-rip torrent of all 3 films was totally dead.
I've seen this on other REL threads. There have been instances where it's shifted the focus of the thread and confused a few members. It's kinda cool, keeps things interesting. It is confusing that the 1st and 2nd movies are in this thread and the 2nd and 3rd are in another thread. It is so intertwined that I would have a hard time properly splitting the posts, so I won't bother!
Thanks! I'll check to see if they're any different or better than the other HD rips I've gathered.popdrome's lovely 1080p rips for the 2nd and 3rd are now available again complete:

Re: [REL] Wilden Hühner, Die (2005)
Why, thank you! I usually have a rough time with German, but recently I watched a video with a girl demonstrating the sounds that various animals make in German. Chickens say "gak gak" so I was able to figure out the correct translation for this scene! But it was too late, I already posted the actual subtitles. Folks will just have to figure out the chickens on their own.
In the second Wild Chicks movie it is stated in the dialog that a donkey (or esel) says "iaah, iaah!"
You are absolutely right and NOT full of crap, and I actually did search for "wilden huehner" but NOT "wil huehner", so I did not find it. Of course the Germans must have ü and ß on their keyboards, just like Russians have Cyrillic letters. Some other people can use ALT key + numberpad for the special characters, but I have to copy and paste.
Actually no, the "Die Wilden Hühner. Trilogy (2006-2008) BDRip 1080p [Hurtom]" on btmulu.com. I did not even think to check blizzardkid, probably because they tend to prefer boys. But DUH, there are boys in this too! They are not the leads but they are very very important. (And some of them are quite pretty.) It looks like the file in the btmulu trilogy matches one of the blizzardkid Bluray rips, but those are actually DIRECT DOWNLOADS. At over 8 Gb each it will take me awhile, but I will post the yandex links for blizzardkid nonmembers once I have verified them. Ultimately I will likely remux to a smaller size and emule it, but I have the two other movies to deal with subtitles first.Could that possibly be the torrents from blizzardkid?
Yeah, like ME! Some of them get absolutely bewildering switching back and forth between 2 movies (like the original and a sequel). A few times I have split threads apart, but frequently they are so intertwined that it is not worth the effort. More often I have taken multiple threads on the same topic or for the same TV series and merged them together. Which is more confusing, talking two movies in the same thread or my going off on a tangent and straying from any specific movie entirely? There have been instances where it's shifted the focus of the thread and confused a few members.
Popdrome's 1080p rips are definitely better than the HD 720p TVrips that are matching sets for this one! I have them too.
