Polleke (2003)

Polleke is an ordinary 11 year old girl raised by her single mom and always defending her drug-addicted dad. She wants to be a poet and is in love with Mimoun, a Maroccan boy in her class, with Africa eyes.

Take the time to see this film and you won't regret it: It's funny, moving and full of great characters and even greater dialogue. It's a love story, a coming of age story, a feel good movie and an educational one. My favorite film this year!

I'm not too familiar with .bin files, any advise on the program needed to mount them is welcome

People always freak out when I post anything that big so I did not bother...

I don't freak out, but it is really hard to get a 2 GB file from emule with only one complete source..

BTW: This one is much bigger (DVD-R):

I would have to check the hashes but I think thats the same ISO I have. Thou someone else added there name too it. But they compressed the extras and striped the subs. Plus most of the extras are blended interlaced frames (I spent 2 hours in Vdub trying to combine filters to fix it and had no luck, it was just too random) and with the low MPEG bitrates I could not rip anything worth while with out a really high bitrate and a large amount of key frames. But the movie its self is perfect.

Had a look at this, looks reasonably interesting story (even without subtitles) and cast look OK to me.

Have to say looks as if this source has died.

Re-sharing my complete one now

Dont know what all that bin file chat was about but it plays fine renaming it .mpg! - it plays on all my players; VLC / WMP & whatever else I use

Firstly, thanks to those who brought us the original releases!

The 700.39mb & 763.79mb files still have sources but I'm hoping a 2cd size rip with English subtitles will be appreciated. The subtitles may or may not match the existing releases. These were awkward to rip with SubRip..........I think we've discussed what seems to happen with subs when a DVD is re-authored/compressed as I guess is the case here. I have proof-read them but will welcome anyone spotting mistakes, editing & posting corrections.
