Re: [RREL] En Kärlekshistoria (1970)
Hey thanks, ghost!
I had know of this one as a classic long before I realized flm movie types was kind of its own subgenre. I remember very little of this one, but I believe I cherished my 697mb file.
I grabbed the 2.2gb rarbg file last year, but have not yet watched this again. I am grabbing yours as well. So I have a little question. I've never really considered it too important, but should I assume your 4gb file will likely be higher video quality?

Re: [RREL] En Kärlekshistoria (1970)
I assume that the 2.2gb rarbg file has a lower bitrate than mine, so my 4 GB file sould have a better image quality. But I don't know the smaller file. It also could be encoded with the H.264/HEVC codec, with compresses better.should I assume your 4gb file will likely be higher video quality?

Re: [RREL] En Kärlekshistoria (1970)
Your files are h.264 I thought? The newer standard is H.265/HEVC. But it requires relatively modern PC hardware... <4 years to run 1080p smoothly.

Re: [RREL] En Kärlekshistoria (1970)
Note: this is a typo. ghost surely meant H.265/HEVC as possibly the encoding for the other file.
I checked: the RARBG file is also H264. I place all my bets on ghost's version.
You are correct, ghost's files are always H.264. H265 files are great, but I can only play them efficiently on my 4k blu-ray player ... which is how I watch movies anyway. I just can not review the H265 files very well on my old computer. So I take other people's H265 files gladly, but I do not dare create them myself.David32441 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 8:34 pm Your files are h.264 I thought? The newer standard is H.265/HEVC. Streaming on ARTE until the end of June, in 720p Swedish with optional English, French, or German subtitles.
https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/045895-00 ... eschichte/
It DOES have the "arte" watermark but it does NOT seem to be geo-restricted.

Downloadable with hardcoded German subs here. At least I assume it's otherwise the same. https://mediathekviewweb.de/#query=Eine ... geschichteNight457 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 2:06 pm Streaming on ARTE until the end of June, in 720p Swedish with optional English, French, or German subtitles.
