He looks the same as in his video for 'Take on Me' - a huuuuuuuuge song. Most people over 40 who've lived in Europe or watched MTV would instantly recognise him! Didn't need any clue other than the photo!

Same here ;) I still see him regularly on my MTV 80s channel.

I promise you my brain is well warped by 1980s MTV. I remember the VJs Martha, Alan, Nina, Mark and J.J. I saw the video at least 1000 times but the sexy hair-gelled stud muffin spent most of the video in rotoscoped animated form, so maybe that is why I don't really remember the appearance of the real guy. If I had read "Tiger Beat" magazine I might have known his name.

I admit that there is something wrong in remembering the VJs but not the singers. I remember what Dee Snider of Twisted Sister looks like, though!

Seen videos for all their other songs probably too. The Sun Always Shines on TV (with the Mannequins in the church), A View to a Kill (though mostly Bond shots), Stay on these Roads, and a dozen others!

"A View to a Kill" is Duran Duran!

All those pretty boys look the same to me. Give me the ugly ones.

I think I can recognize him even without seeing the pic.
