This was not at all tacky but caused a huge storm in the UK when released with people saying this will debauch the minds of young girls and wild hysteria in the press ! Actually, it is a beautiful study of a girl who comes to terms with her own sexuality being different from the norm, told from an early age (I think) through to adulthood. The scenes of girl-girl are immensely well done and not titivating in any way, but show that there is nothing wrong with love of the same sex.

Those who enjoy good films will love this, for any who are hoping for something else they will probably not find it here.
