It appears that unfortunately nobody at FLM at the moment has a copy of OrionPax's english subs. Which is a shame, he worked hard on them.

This film can be found with (typical) Russian dubbing on Megaupload, e.g. there:

It is available at Pirate Bay
http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/10918508 ... 91)_DVDRip
Regarding to English subs... there are two different English translations available - official ones together with this rip and those already posted here and everywhere (for example at podnapisi).
I can't say which translation is better (because I don't speak Latvian) but... as much as I know it is impossible to say "Hey, Auntie!" to someone who is a man... or am I wrong?
But so it was in English subs together with that rip.

Re: [REL] Cilveka Berns AKA Child of Man (1991) [Latvia]
Gender is often confused in translations, especially when going from languages where nouns have a "gender" such as French and Spanish to languages that don't such as English. The context of the sentence is very important. This is especially noticeable when using something like Google Translate. It has improved tremendously since it was first introduced but it still makes critical mistakes, but for language-challenged people like me, it's the best we have. I don't know which version of subtitles you were using but a home-made translation by someone who actually speaks the language is probably a lot better than a machine translation.
Re: [REL] Cilveka Berns AKA Child of Man (1991) [Latvia]
The context here was greeting....two people (both were males) met and....
And those subs together with that Pirate Bay rip (inside MP4, Yamb can extract them) are pobably the same
that are in the DVD.
And after that I watched it again with homemade subs...
But... are they really making subs for official DVDs with machine?
