Mmmmm... Jodelle Ferland !!!
IMDB link [for the uninformed! lol]:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0410764/
Synopsis:
I've read the book, and there are 2 VERY OT scenes in the book. Rumors of public disgust over 'Pedophillic-oriented' scenes seem to verify they might be in there...After her mother dies from a heroin overdose, Jeliza-Rose is taken from the big city to a rural farmhouse by her father. As she tries to settle into a new life in a house her father had purchased for his now-deceased mother, Jeliza-Rose's attempts to deal with what's happened result in increasingly odd behavior, as she begins to communicate mainly with her bodiless Barbie doll heads and Dell, a neighborhood woman who always wears a beekeeper's veil.
I'm loading it as quick as I can to verify. If someone can preview BEFORE me, post it PLEASE.

Jodelle Ferland, for those that don't recognize her, played the ghost-girl Mary Jensen in Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital.

Looks like PRIME Gillian, and a tour-de-force performance by Ferland!

Seems to be dead in the water....
Found another 1.37GB link, but when checking 'File Name' it showed up as having had a RUSSIAN name, so I don't hold out much hope for that one...
Got a 'Tideland' update email that said the movie was being shown at another festival, but no word on it being picked up for distribution...
This movie may indeed turn out to be boring as hell, but I don't think anyone should judge it right now on its initial piece-of-crap ed2k release... I don't intend to watch it again until it hits the theaters or it's sent to a decent looking DVD...
I think Terry Gilliam [whether he admits it or not] has a penchant for young girls in his movies; and he has the balls to risk ridicule by letting them play lead roles. We need MORE directors like him!!

Too cool, ghost!!
Actually I ordered the DVD the other day, and expecting it in Monday.
It's a Russian release on sale at DiabolikDVD [US Distributor]:

I've ordered quite a bit from these guys; they are the BEST as far as getting the orders out to you as quick as possible. VERY reliable company.
(If you're interested in getting it from them, you better hurry: When I ordered late Friday night, there was 23 copies available. Checking tonight, they list '14'. )
