French teenager Camille, played by 13-year-old Alice Papierski, juggles relationships with two older men and one boy closer to her own age.

No subtitles appear to exist for this movie in any language. Don't worry though. You'll get the gist of what's happening without them. Alice is amazing and beautiful, in a role that reminds me a bit of La petite voleuse with Charlotte Gainsbourg. https://www.first-loves.net/forums/view ... =13&t=1287. :D

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please unrar to your shared folder and seed this for a while. Every source helps. You can still burn an .iso file to disc while it's being shared. It won't interfere with the recording process.

Thanks deadman, another great share. This is one of the few films (if not the only one) where the relationship between a man and a teen is not given a dramatic turn, the story between the girl, her father, father's friend and a boy of her age is conducted without complex, rather happily, even if it is for the girl to manage the two relationships, where she is looking for a mature man but realize that it would be easier with a boy of her age. In La petite voleuse/Noce blanche/La femme-enfant/L'adolescente, etc., the girl is not in conflict between two men, unlike in La fille de 15 ans (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097353/), where the relationship is conflictual.

We use eMule as our main download method. Please read https://www.first-loves.net/forums/view ... =69&t=7279 for how to set up eMule.

...you say no subtitles exist for this - in a few weeks they might :)
Microsoft translator worked so well on French -> English on Inseperables I'm going to give this one a go next.
I want to watch the film and know what's being said!
Ghost - if you or someone could do a 720p Topaz on this I'd be grateful. I tried the de-interlacing thing and got an error message :(
I think the saturation needs boosting on the video I downloaded. Think the film stock had lost colour and not fixed before mastering. Seemed a bit washed out - even for 80s France!

It's in my queue, david. Let's see what's possible with this DVD ;)

I checked the DVD. The picture quality is just too bad to blow it up to HD. You won't get a good result.

I'm sorry, David, but it's just not worth the work.

not even 720p :(
oh well - i'm still subtitling it - about 14mins in so far. That translator is doing a fantastic job.
There's even a scene about 15mins in where she's showing the man around the apartment where she lives with her mum, describing that the property was bought with the grandfather's illgotten gains from a tin mine in South Africa (reminded me of the current Russian oligarchs!). That it soured her feeling of it. The translator is sooo good!

I'm gonna try with my 2007 rip of this, which is NOT to say it'll be better than the dvd rip, and it won't ever be ghost's quality (remember ghost has quality standards - which is a good thing) but I will try and this has already been difficult:

I had to restart Topaz in loan mode (mac users know this, you will have to check Rosetta, entirely start over if you happen to run Apple silicon instead of Intel), and you need Artemis HQ (mq won't work, proteus and chronos won't work either), AND have a lot of patience because this may take 2 days to finish.

I'll keep y'all posted

Don't go quietly into the night.
