[RREL] Fortress (1985)
[RREL] Fortress (1985)
Very OT (for me); starring a school class in the Australian wilderness. Some skinny dipping.

You know, it's AMAZING the CRAP that gets put out on DVD, while great movies like this seem to be eternally overlooked.popdrome wrote:Very OT (for me); starring a school class in the Australian wilderness. Some skinny dipping.

Re: [RREL] Fortress (1986)
Good movie this........
I'd earmarked this for an upgrade, in fact I'd gone as far as downloading an mkv from Usenet ages ago but something obviously stopped me from releasing it.........I can't remember but I'll take a guess it's a reluctance in me to release files using the Matroska container when there have historically been problems with some members here viewing them. The file is still available at a.b.hdtv.x264 for those that wish & have currently, 266 days retention.
This is my own standard 2CD size XviD rip, taken from a R1 DVDR posted at CG.

Shame the quality's just a bit grainy, but there again this IS nearly 25 years old!

Re: [RREL] Fortress (1986)
Upgrade to 1280x720. Still a little grainy but the best I've seen so far.

Re: [RREL] Fortress (1986)
This version is a little better. Both appear to be 720p upscales of the DVD, but the .mkv has better picture and sound quality.
