[REL] Red Riding Hood (2004) [GM]

Post by kev »   25 likes

OK.... Going against my [sorta] policy on posting American-Made movies; I'm releasing THIS one coz I've been waiting for it to hit the market for about 2 years!! Ever since I first saw it advertised on the 'Hansel & Gretel' DVD [with Dakota Fanning and Taylor Momsen]. Well, I found the DVD for sale tonight! (It was released June 27, 2006.)

The same production co. that made 'Hansel & Gretel' has now released THEIR skewed version of 'Red Riding Hood'! :bigups

IMDB link:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0385988/

Synopsis:
C'mon!! It's LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD!!! ;) (OK; with a bit of a twist...)

Very CAMPY, to the point of distraction, but THIS Little Red has LEGS!! :heart

(Also, THIS version was directed by Randal Kleiser, director of 'Blue Lagoon' with Brooke Shields.)

Hmm.. sounds interesting indeed.

btw, my favourite take on the Red Riding Hood tale is (to date) 'The Company of Wolves'. Yummy.

Total campy silliness! That's what this is, and we should embrace it.
A "musical" of the little red riding hood, of sorts. I've processed it in Artemis (topaz) and here's what you get:
