Synopsis:
Nice DVD, Dunya + Desie 1. It tells the story about a Dutch and a Maroccan girl. Both 15 years old, first boyfriends, first sex, different cultures but always: the best friends. Lots of humour, a must see series, especially these days now in Holland there are tensions between the Dutch and the Arab people. This series shows that friendship can solve a lot of problems.

From what I remember the girls were supposed to be 15, but they did seem to look older..

Don't wanna spoil anything, but Eva (the blonde) is from 1985 so was 23
when this was made,
same goes for

In 2001, when the first TV series recorded, both were 16.

Actually, looking back over all this, I realize I was talking about the original series.. The picture that STILL exists, seems to indicate that I was attracted because the girls look 16 - 18 and NOTHING like the women pictured on the DVD..
Still nice to know that the show was successful enough that it extended past the girls teens.

just watched first couple episodes. tv series much better than movie. 19 episodes on tpb type in Dunya & Desie.
