Thanks popdrome! I think I may have heard of this somewhere at sometime, but I've never watched it or downloaded it! Thanks for sharing one of the first FLM movies! I look forward to La Boum!

They are good fun! I have them on Blu, otherwise I would grab these files pronto.

Well ... the first one IS better, as is typical. But I remember liking the sequel too.

Yeah, honestly at first, I opted out of the grabbing the sequel, but popdrome had it so nicely available. A nice review and the fact you own them was enough for me though! ;) I love watching French movies, so I'll probably have good fun.

Yeah, and on BLU-RAY too! Most of the FLM-type movies I bought before discovering FLM were only available on DVD. The French treated these two with the respect they deserve.

It's fantastic to have these films in 1080p, both this and the sequel. But why do they have hard subtitles with a black edge round the text that's about 7 pixels wide? I wished for black borders around white text when watching HongKong video discs of Jackie Chan films with unreadable white text over white washed out video - but it's not needed in 1080p video - and sometimes you want to turn the subtitles off.
A decade ago before subtitles could be layered in mkv it was necessary to burn subtitles into the video - but not anymore. Be good to have these with subtitles in a text layer. Easily done with MKVMergeGUI - and defaulting the text to Yes. The video will encode smaller as there's loss noise and you're not burning text over the picture.

What files are you talking about? I don't have any of the FLM versions because I have the Blus, but popdrome's have external subtitles.
