Mix My Father's Glory and Apres la guerre to get an idea of this one. Set in the rural French countryside just before the German invasion, a group of young adolescents explore the boundaries between love and friendship as well as fantasy and fact. Bound to be best appreciated by those familiar with its language, but still an exceptional piece that any true cinemaphile won't want to miss.
